Shane Copeland

Shane was born in Denver, CO and moved to the land of Olathe Sweet-Sweet Corn in 3rd grade where he was raised and graduated High School in 1992. 

He enjoyed playing most sports (but not all) in high school and college intramurals (and with minimal injury.) Not eligible for professional sports (due to lack of skills), Shane instead applied his knowledge to coaching youth sports for the past 18+ years. He successfully secured an Exercise Science degree from Fort Lewis College in 1997 where he met his amazing bride of 23+ years, Lenni Jo. 

They shared their 1st 3 years of marriage in Denver, and they have had the privilege and extreme honor to be the parents of 3 amazing young men, Corey (Soldier in Army), Luke (Wildland Firefighter), & Peyton (Student)!  

Then while visiting family in Olathe/Montrose area, the breathtaking beauty and magnetism of the GREAT San Juan Mountains, being closer to family, and knowing they needed to raise their family in a different place, they packed up their wagon (Uhaul) and moved to back to Montrose in 2004. 

His years in business and working in strategic roles in other businesses, has allowed him to thoroughly understand and appreciate many business models, while affording him the opportunity to form great relationships with many business owners along his journey.  This same passion for Business has led him to become a Licensed/Certified Real Estate & Commercial  Broker.

Shane is also a Kingdom Driven Christian, who enjoys interacting & encouraging business Owners & Employees through Marketplace Ministry whenever the opportunity is presented.  He strives to live his life & run his business endeavors according to God’s guidance and principles.

Why did he join Renfrow Realty?
